Thorough but pricey

I brought my truck in for service after the initial issue was not resolved. The dealership kept the vehicle for an entire day, only to return it without performing any meaningful work, stating that the behavior I reported was “normal” and claiming a comparable new vehicle performed the same. I specifically drove the exact truck the technician referenced, along with another similar model, and neither exhibited the issue my vehicle has. Upon returning home, I also discovered that one of my front tires was in a dangerously deteriorated condition, which raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and safety of their inspection. During my visit, I allowed the staff to explain their reasoning, but their conclusions were inconsistent with observable facts. After presenting this discrepancy, communication from the dealership has ceased entirely. Given the lack of resolution, accountability, and attention to safety, I will be seeking service elsewhere. It is disappointing that a brand like Chevrolet allows this level of service at its dealerships.

Since the dealership ownership change the cost for an oil change has increased $30+ from my last visit. As well the tire rotation is no longer included in the service. When I went to check out I was surprised that an oil change with no tire rotation is $105. When I talked to the service guy checking me out and explaining how surprised I was since other local dealers are offering the 8 qt full synthetic oil change and tire rotation for $89. I was explained that if want to go somewhere else do it, just that the forever warranty will be a nightmare, and that the dealership has to make a profit they basically don’t care about how uncompetitive they are on cost even to other Chevrolet dealers. Basically acted like they didn’t care if I came back or not, so I’ll shop around and have to deal with the headache of the forever warranty. More than likely won’t be back to this dealership again for service or for future vehicles purchases. Left a really bad taste in my mouth the way it was handled. Not to mention that although it was cleaned off after I pointed it out there was oil or grease all over my center console and door armrest from the service. While there I also pointed out how I needed the recall work for the 6.2L engine done on my truck, I told them I want to get it done but need a loaner. To which I was told they are very difficult to get so I guess I’ll try to figure out something with another dealership to try to get that done. Hopefully it doesn’t put my family or myself at risk while I try to figure it out. Just an overall very poor experience. Especially with this being my first since the new ownership took over. Very disappointing!

Once explained to me how complex installing mud flaps on a new car is these days everything was great. Didn’t realize it would take 1.5 hours. I am very happy with my mud flaps.

Although the work performed seemed adequate, I was annoyed that instead of coming and talking to me while I waited in your waiting area about issues found during the inspection of my vehicle, I was sent emails. Then after the work was completed I had difficulty finding my car because it was not parked where I was told.

They said my car was ready. When I went to pick it up, it wasn’t washed? Don’t they wash them after service anyo?
